Vidanta Los Cabos is already a wonderful place where vacation dreams come true. But just wait until the end of the year, when Herringbone and two other Hakkasan Group concepts will take the destination to a whole new level of luxury.
Guests at Vidanta Los Cabos often call the destination an oasis of luxury in one of the world’s most beautiful places. Consisting of one resort hotel—The Grand Mayan—and located at the Southern tip of the Baja California Peninsula, the resort is decidedly intimate and exclusive in feel, with its famous tiered pools stretching toward the white sand beaches and expansive outdoor fire pits. So you might find it a bit surprising when we say that this sumptuous paragon of comfort and relaxation is currently getting an upgrade.
How do you improve upon paradise? By calling on the immense expertise of the world-leading lifestyle entertainment brand, of course.
Hakkasan Group has made a name for itself by creating restaurants and entertainment venues that combine unparalleled quality with stylish and artful execution. Its eponymous Hakkasan Las Vegas Restaurant and Nightclub is revered as the hottest spot in the U.S.’s nightlife capital due to its impeccably executed fine cuisine, effortlessly luxurious yet modern atmosphere, and a lineup of the best DJs in the world. Hakkasan Group has eateries and clubs in Shanghai, Dubai, and Miami. And it’s already working on the next few additions to its already impressive portfolio—three new concepts at Vidanta Los Cabos.
The first of the three new Hakkasan Group projects to be announced, Herringbone Restaurant will showcase the flavors of the sea with its signature take on California coastal cuisine. The restaurant garnered acclaim and an incredibly devout following in its two Californian and one Las Vegas locations, and now is ready to bring the same beachside sophistication to Mexico. Following the mantra of “Fish Meats Field”, the menu boasts the best of market-fresh produce, locally sourced meat, and fresh-from-the-ocean seafood.
The all-new Herringbone Restaurant will be located just off from the main pools at Vidanta Los Cabos and will be designed to showcase the stunning edge-of-the-world views. The dining room, lounge, and bar area will include nautical elements in its sleek, modern décor, as well as an airy, natural vibe thanks to an indoor-outdoor layout and native flora that will be featured throughout. Of course, the restaurant will also reflect its new home country in aspects of the cuisine and the terracotta dishware.
More to Come
In addition to Herringbone, development of another Hakkasan Group restaurant and a dayclub are also currently underway at the destination. Both of these new concepts promise the high-end, stylish aesthetic the company does so well, but will also integrate the vibrant culture of Mexico in striking design elements proudly displayed throughout. And they’ll also offer plenty of spectacularly chic places to spread out, soak up the sun, and enjoy the nonstop luxury of being on vacation at such a gorgeous locale.
These highly anticipated new attractions join the list of great activities, events, and dining already offered at Los Cabos, including a beautiful 9-hole golf course, the Sunday night Flamenco Show, live music by beloved Mexican Songstress Luna Itzel, and a wealth of pool and beach activities. Additionally, the Mercado Gourmet is now open offering a range of delectable treats and culinary treasures under one roof, plus guests can enjoy the new Beach Club, which offers a luxurious lounging experience complete with its own Beach Concierge.
Be on the lookout for more updates regarding these exciting new collaborations with Hakkasan Group.
